Forgot Your Medication? Here's What to Do at Disney World

You're two days into your Disney World vacation when it hits you — you left your medication at home. The good news: you don't have to let it ruin your trip. Lake Buena Vista Pharmacy is located just minutes from the Disney parks, and we deliver prescriptions and essentials directly to your hotel or resort.

Forgetting medication on vacation is one of the most common travel mishaps. The key is acting quickly. Most prescriptions can be filled or transferred same-day, and with hotel delivery available, you may not even need to leave your resort.

Your first call should be to your regular pharmacy back home. Ask them to transfer your prescription to a pharmacy near your hotel. Have ready: your name and date of birth, medication name and dosage, your home pharmacy's phone number, and your insurance card information.

Once you've initiated the transfer, call us at (321) 948-6413 or reach us on WhatsApp. Our multilingual staff speaks English, Spanish, and Portuguese. We'll confirm the transfer, verify your insurance, and arrange delivery to your hotel room.

If you need a new prescription, visit an urgent care clinic near the parks or use a telehealth service — many insurance plans cover virtual doctor visits. For over-the-counter medications like pain relievers, allergy medicine, antacids, or cold remedies, no prescription is needed. We can deliver those directly to your hotel as well.

Our hotel delivery service is designed specifically for Disney-area visitors. Call or WhatsApp us with your prescription information, we fill and prepare your order, then deliver directly to your hotel or resort in the Lake Buena Vista area.

Florida law allows pharmacies to fill valid out-of-state prescriptions for most medications. We accept most major insurance plans. If you're uninsured or your plan isn't accepted, we'll give you a clear price upfront.

For future trips: pack a 7-day buffer of any prescription medication, keep prescriptions in original bottles, take a photo of your prescription labels, and save our number in your contacts before you leave home.
